Ethical Porn Production Policy

The standards every producer on the platform must meet, and how we run our own productions.

Climaxx Media Ltd runs a talent platform that connects performers with independent producers and content creators, and from time to time produces content of its own. This policy does two jobs. It sets the minimum standards that every producer and creator on the platform agrees to meet when they book a performer, and it describes how we run the productions that are ours. We are not present on, and do not supervise, shoots run by other producers; a performer's protection on those shoots comes from the producer's compliance with these standards, from the performer's own written agreement with that producer, and from the reporting routes in section 13.

1. Consent and Boundaries

Consent must be given freely, in advance, and for each act. A performer may stop, pause or withdraw from a scene at any point, before, during or after filming, without argument, pressure or penalty. Producers must confirm the content of every scene with the performer before the shoot day, in writing, and must not add acts on the day that were not agreed.

2. Clear and Open Communication

Producers must answer a performer's questions about the shoot honestly before a booking is confirmed: who will be present, what will be filmed, where it will be published, and how and when the performer will be paid. Performers are encouraged to raise boundaries, preferences and concerns at any stage, and a producer who treats that as a problem is in breach of this policy.

3. Respectful Set Environment

Sets must be free of intimidation, ridicule and coercion. Only people with a role in the production should be present. Any request from the performer to take a break, to speak privately, or to have a companion present must be respected.

4. Written Terms

Every booking must be recorded in writing before the shoot day: the fee, when and how it is paid, the date, time and address, the content to be filmed, where and how it will be published, and what happens on cancellation, including any kill fee and cover for travel already booked. Standard release and booking templates are available to producers inside the platform. Performers should be given time to read the terms and ask questions before signing, and should not be asked to sign anything for the first time on set.

5. Call Sheets

Producers must send the performer the practical details before the shoot day: schedule, order of scenes, who will be on set, and a contact number for the day. A performer who has not received this information is entitled to ask for it before travelling.

6. Performer Autonomy

The performer decides what they will and will not do, and can change that decision at any time. No producer may condition payment, future work or a reference on the performer continuing with something they have withdrawn from.

7. Age Verification

8. Producer Vetting

9. Working Conditions Producers Must Provide

A producer who books a performer through the platform agrees to provide:

Climaxx Media does not attend or supervise shoots run by other producers and does not provide a chaperone. Our support desk is available before and after any booking, and any breach of this section should be reported to us (section 13).

10. Climaxx Media's Own Productions

When Climaxx Media Ltd produces content itself, it is the producer for that shoot and the standards above apply to us directly. In addition, every crew member on a Climaxx Media in-house production, including our director, holds a current DBS check, and the performer's written agreement for the shoot is with Climaxx Media Ltd. Bookings for our own productions are made through the platform in the same way as any other producer's.

11. Safeguarding

12. Confidentiality

13. Complaints and Reporting

A performer who experiences any breach of this policy should report it to us straight away through the support desk in their dashboard or by email to support@climaxxmedia.com. Reports are confidential. We record every report against the producer's account, investigate, and where the report involves consent or safety we pause the producer's account while we do so. A producer who breaches this policy can be removed from the platform permanently.
